“Logic - Under Pressure” - Deluxe Album Cover illustration for Def Jam by Sam Spratt
For the Deluxe cover, we wanted to make something entirely different from the standard album cover but still tackle part of Logic’s narrative — in this case it’s less literal history, and more representative of his art, music, and where it comes from. This fictional city scene in a Maryland warehouse district was so fun to create — painting layer by layer — the bricks, coats of paint on top of them, graffiti, metal accents with reflected light, distress, cracks, puddles, fog, etc.
